About the Aquatic Warrior Exercise Program

The Aquatic Exercise Program for Wounded Warriors and Injured Athletes is based on the programs developed for the Army's OTSG/Proponency Office for Rehabilitation and Reintegration.  This program is the result of continued refinement of the original program.  The exercises included in this program provides a way to be physically active and fit for anyone unable to exercise on land, accelerate the return to regular activity without potentially detrimental outcomes, and is appropriate for anyone who has been injured or participants looking for addition challenges in their aquatic activities.

 

The focus of the in-depth program includes Deep Water Interval Cadence Training, Strength Training with Drag Equipment, Plyometrics, Shallow Water Agility Training, Balance, Core Strength, and Stretching Exercises.
